How long will it take to get my order?

Domestic Packages: Typically around 1-2 weeks to receive packages.
International packages: First Class Packages arrive around 2-4 weeks, whereas First Class Mail can take anywhere from 2-8 weeks to arrive.

Why is international shipping so expensive?

As of January 21st, 2018 USPS increased their postage prices and no longer allow pins to be shipped as First Class Flats internationally. All merchandise is required to be shipped as First Class Packages which start at $13.30 depending on the weight of the package.

Floating Forest Studio also includes additional shipping insurance on all packages, which protects the buyer and seller against lost or damaged packages. If you'd rather not have shipping insurance added to your order, please send me an email before purchasing. Please note: you waive ALL RIGHTS to any refunds or replacements without shipping insurance if your package gets lost or damaged in transit.

I'm a domestic/international buyer and my order still hasn't arrived after several weeks. What should I do?

Before contacting me, please try to do the following first:

-If provided, check your tracking number
Sometimes packages get held up in customs and can take a couple weeks to clear.
-Contact your local post office
They may not have left you a notice stating you have an unclaimed parcel or the slip might have gotten lost.
-If it's been at least 20 days (domestic) or 40 days (international) since your package has shipped and still hasn't arrived, then it's lost. Please contact me.
If your package has insurance, please contact me within 90 days of the ship date. If you contact me after 120 days have passed, then there's nothing I can do and you will need to file a claim with your local post office. No refunds are available after 120 days.

My package has been returned to sender?

If your package is being returned to the sender it could be for a number of reasons:

-Address written incorrectly.
-The package was refused by someone who lives in your residence.
-The package was unclaimed (in some cases packages are delivered to leasing offices or local post offices and are never picked up. Due to this, they will return it to the sender)

If your tracking number says its being returned to the sender please note I cannot stop this process and will have to wait to physically get the package back from USPS to reship it to you. You will need to pay for an additional handling charge as well as the cost to reship the package to you. Please contact Floating Forest Studio for issues around this.

Pin Quality

All pins, unless otherwise noted, are "Standard" quality pins. This means that the pins are free of major defects, but may have some slight imperfections including, but not limited to: tiny stray glitter specs, superficial tiny bubbles in enamel or epoxy coating, imperfections in the metal on the sides or back of the pin, or superficial scratches to metal surfaces. I do not sell collector's quality pins.

Seconds Grade: For budget collectors. Pins may contain multiple or major defects of the types noted above and/or: peeling enamel, missing enamel, superficial paint drops or spreading into other enamel, or other visible imperfections.

Product color may vary slightly due to photographic lighting sources or monitor settings.

Refunds, Part 1

Refunds will only be given if items were lost or damaged in transit and I'm contacted within 15 days of receiving your order. For damages, please provide photo evidence of the damage in question. If everything is as it should be then you have the option to either receive a refund or have the order replaced.

If you wish to have your order replaced, then I will need to receive the damaged items first in order to send the replacement items. Shipping on the returned merchandise is at the shipper's expense. Once I've received the items, then I can mail out your replacement.

Refunds, Part 2

Refunds will not be given on orders for the following scenarios:

-Package tracking shows that the item was delivered. Please see the FAQ for next steps if this is the case.
-The tracking number is no longer valid and has expired.
-You are not happy with the quality of your product, or its size or color. Quality standards are clearly stated above.

Returns

You must contact me within 15 days from the ship date. If 15 days have gone by since shipping, unfortunately I can’t offer you a refund.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. You are responsible for paying for return shipping. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Once your return is received and inspected, I will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

The following are not eligible for returns or refunds: downloadable products, sale items, and seconds pins.

Insurance

All orders are shipped with insurance, which protects the seller and buyer in case a package is lost or damaged in transit. Shipsurance policy states that claims for Domestic packages must be filed after 20 days from the ship date but before 120 days. International package claims must be filed after 40 days from the ship date but before 120 days. Please contact me at hello@floatingforest.studio if your package meets the above criteria and you need to initiate a claim.

If your package does not have insurance or if you choose to opt out of insurance, then unfortunately I cannot refund or replace your missing package. Once the package has been handed off to the post then all ownership and responsibility for the parcel transfers to you.
